Rotary Club of Nundah
If you know of a business that is about to upgrade their computer systems, then tell them about the Rotary Club of Nundah’s Computers 4 kids program. Known as C4K. The project refurbishes Ex Government and Corporate PC’s for distribution to disadvantaged students of any age. If you wish to donate your old computer (Must be a minimum Pentium 3) or maybe you are a School, Kindergarten, Tertiary College or Non Profit organisation and want a computer? Community Wellbeing Services
Are holding a Sewing, Jewellery making Scrap-booking Day every Thursday 9am to 3pm. Lunch is provided. Costs are $5, some materials are provided. There are limited numbers. For further details or to book a place please PH: 3283 4593 or 3283 6311.
 
Redcliffe P.C.Y.C.
Are holding a Play-doh dance party for ages 5 – 13 years. This is held at the Redcliffe P.C.Y.C. from 6:30pm to 8:30pm Friday nights. For further details PH: 3283 2800.
 
Redcliffe – Scarborough Branch Of The Australian Pensioners and Superannuants League
Has a social day from 9:30am on the second Monday of each month consisting of raffles, morning tea and concerts. Cost is only $3. Hoy is held on alternate every second Mondays at 11:30am. Cost is $1.50. Bus tours are held on request. The hall is also available for hire. For further details please ring 3284 2893.
 
Redcliffe Parkinson’s Support Group
Meets at the Redcliffe Paceway Lion’s Den on the third Wednesday morning of each month. The Support Group is a non-profit organization to help Parkinson suffers. We do have a monthly Newspaper and our meetings only cost $1 (for a cuppa) and we have no membership fee. We do hold the occasional raffle when we can obtain a donation. Volunteers are needed to help with running of Redcliffe Community Association, “Family and Relationship Service’s Family Support Program”. Redcliffe State High School
Redcliffe State High School Trades Training Program needs your business to hose School Based Trainees / Apprentices for 2009 in Engineering Fitting and Fabrication or Furniture Making / Cabinet Making / Shop Fitting. We are keen to establish positive partnerships with local industry so that students will spend one week each month in the workplace, gaining on-the-job training towards their Certificate II or III. This “one on, three off” cycle is possible as our Trade students are in a flexible study program that is separate to the mainstream timetable. Each student will complete a Construction Industry Safety Blue Card, Senior First Aid Training and work placement before they commence with the employer. Bayside Beats Drum And Dance
