Harvest Exhibition

(Feb 28 - May 24) Harvest digs down into the rich agricultural heritage of our region - its deep roots, thriving present, and bold growth for the future. The exhibition celebrates stories of this Country which has always been home to Aboriginal people. Country has been managed expertly for tens of thousands of years and continues to see abundant yields produced by today’s farmers. Through a vibrant mix of historical objects, striking photographs, and personal stories, Harvest reveals how agriculture has always influenced our land, economy, and ways of life. This exhibition will be shown first at Redcliffe Museum, followed by Pine Rivers Heritage Museum. Each museum will share some homegrown stories.
Al-Anon Family Groups

(Every Tuesday 6:30PM-8:15PM)
Al-Anon Family Groups is a unique fellowship that unites members of different backgrounds, races and walks of life in an inspiring endeavor, helping themselves and others to lead purposeful, useful lives by overcoming the frustration and helplessness caused by close association with an alcoholic. We have support groups for the family and friends of problem drinkers, as well as specific groups for teens affected by someone else’s drinking. Our Lawnton Group meets every Tuesday evening. Other meetings available across South East Queensland and online.
Shakespeare - Dying on Stage

(May 9, 17, 22, 23 ) A play - All the deaths in Shakespeare, in an hour, as a farce of a comedy. As part of the Anywhere Festival - Moreton Bay; a not-for -profit event held at non-traditional venues throughout the Moreton Bay.
Redcliffe Art Society / Tutors Exhibition

(May 13 - Jun 7) The Tutors Exhibition showcases a selection of works by several Redcliffe Art Society tutors, each recognised for their dedication to sharing knowledge and expertise with members through instructional classes. You will see artworks in watercolour, oil, acrylics, and mixed media. The topics range from depictions of nature to human portraits. The multitude of colours pleases the eye, and the variety of styles will amaze even the most sophisticated viewers. We are looking forward to seeing you at the official opening of the Tutors Exhibition on Saturday May 16 at 1 pm.
Down Syndrome & Intellectual Disability Queensland

(May 29 - Jun 29) MyTime is a free support group where parents and carers of children with disability or other additional needs can feel understood, share ideas and access quality information and resources. It is an environment for people to share advice, information, and resources so you’re always learning something new.
MyTime groups are for all parents and family carers of children under the age of 18 who need a higher level of care than other children. This might be because of a disability, a chronic medical condition, or other additional needs including developmental delay.
MyTime is held during the school term, at the Redcliffe Volunteer Hub, fortnightly Fridays from 9:30-11:30am (next one is 29/5/26).
Project FYR -Find Your Reason

(May 30) Project FYR -Find Your Reason is 70 km continuous walk from Redcliffe Jetty to Shorncliffe, bringing people together to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention. It's about connection, starting real conversations and reminding people they're not alone . Join us as we walk ,share stories and support each other-
because everyone deserves a reason to keep going. Funds raised support LIVIN and their mission to break the stigma around mental health.
The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards

(May 30 - Aug 16) Get ready to laugh at nature’s funniest moments! The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, organised annually, attracts submissions from across the world. This competition celebrates the hilarity of our natural world and helps to highlight what we need to do to protect it. Featuring 60 images, this exhibition showcases a selection of the winners and finalists’ images from the competition over the years. Remembering the Titanic at Redcliffe Museum

(May 31) Film maker Robert Martin takes you back 115 years ago to 31 May 1911, when the RMS Titanic was launched from its shipyard in Belfast, Ireland.
Its collision with an iceberg the following year would make it one of the most famous maritime tragedies in history.
At this immersive lecture led by Titanic film maker Robert Martin:
Hear firsthand accounts gathered from Robert’s interviews with shipwreck survivors and their relatives, including Edith Haisman, who boarded Titanic at just 15 years old.
View artefacts displayed across three trestle tables, including items from the Titanic sister ship, the RMS Olympic.
Experience the film’s theme music performed live on a guitar crafted from timber belonging to RMS Olympic.
World Environment Day at Redcliffe Museum

(Jun 5) Join us at Redcliffe Museum to celebrate World Environment Day!
Jay from Kumbartcho nursery will help you discover the amazing flavours and stories behind Australian native bushfoods!
Jay is a conservation manager who’s passionate about native plants and loves showing people how incredible they really are. For thousands of years, First Nations people have used these plants for food, medicine and everyday life—and now you can learn about them too.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to spot different native bushfood plants, how to grow them at home, and how they’ve been traditionally used. You’ll get hands-on experience, hear interesting stories, and pick up practical gardening tips while reconnecting with nature.
