Harvest Exhibition

(Feb 28 - May 24) Harvest digs down into the rich agricultural heritage of our region - its deep roots, thriving present, and bold growth for the future. The exhibition celebrates stories of this Country which has always been home to Aboriginal people. Country has been managed expertly for tens of thousands of years and continues to see abundant yields produced by today’s farmers. Through a vibrant mix of historical objects, striking photographs, and personal stories, Harvest reveals how agriculture has always influenced our land, economy, and ways of life. This exhibition will be shown first at Redcliffe Museum, followed by Pine Rivers Heritage Museum. Each museum will share some homegrown stories.
Al-Anon Family Groups

(Every Tuesday 6:30PM-8:15PM)
Al-Anon Family Groups is a unique fellowship that unites members of different backgrounds, races and walks of life in an inspiring endeavor, helping themselves and others to lead purposeful, useful lives by overcoming the frustration and helplessness caused by close association with an alcoholic. We have support groups for the family and friends of problem drinkers, as well as specific groups for teens affected by someone else’s drinking. Our Lawnton Group meets every Tuesday evening. Other meetings available across South East Queensland and online.
2026 RAS Annual Members Exhibition

(Mar 11 - Apr 12) Discover unique treasures from local and regional award-winning artists at 2026 RAS Annual Members Exhibition, with 80 unique artworks on display. At the official opening, prizes will be awarded to artists in the experienced and novice categories. Remember to cast your vote for the People's Choice Award before you leave to recognise the artworks which you find outstanding. Many artists will attend the event, so this is a great opportunity to discuss their paintings with them. Most of the exhibition artworks will be available for sale at very reasonable prices. We are looking forward to seeing you at the official opening of the 2026 RAS Annual Members Exhibition on Saturday March 14 at 1pm.
The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards

(May 30 - Aug 16) Get ready to laugh at nature’s funniest moments! The Comedy Wildlife Photography Awards, organised annually, attracts submissions from across the world. This competition celebrates the hilarity of our natural world and helps to highlight what we need to do to protect it. Featuring 60 images, this exhibition showcases a selection of the winners and finalists’ images from the competition over the years. World Environment Day at Redcliffe Museum

(Jun 5) Join us at Redcliffe Museum to celebrate World Environment Day!
Jay from Kumbartcho nursery will help you discover the amazing flavours and stories behind Australian native bushfoods!
Jay is a conservation manager who’s passionate about native plants and loves showing people how incredible they really are. For thousands of years, First Nations people have used these plants for food, medicine and everyday life—and now you can learn about them too.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to spot different native bushfood plants, how to grow them at home, and how they’ve been traditionally used. You’ll get hands-on experience, hear interesting stories, and pick up practical gardening tips while reconnecting with nature.

Redcliffe Art Society presents Celebrating the Journey

(April 15 - May 10) Celebrating the Journey is a collaborative exhibition by four long-standing members of the Redcliffe Art Society. It is a celebration of artistic friendship amongst four women who have long and storied art careers. The viewer is invited to explore beautiful landscapes, still life, and many other subjects depicted with oils, acrylics, ink, pastel, and embroidery. This exhibition brings together a diverse collection of works from four artists who have shared a creative connection through the Redcliffe Art Society over several decades. Nan Dingle, Marcelien Hunt, Marcia Whyte, and Fran Robinson bring to this exhibition their diverse talents and subject matters. Official opening is on April 18 at 11:00
Redcliffe District Orchid Society (RDOS) - 2026 Autumn Show

(April 17 & 18) RDOS holds two x two day shows each year - the first in Autumn and the second in Spring. The events are highly popular with the Redcliffe community and attracts visitors from all around . On show are the stunningly beautiful exotic orchids from throughout the world which are owned by the society's members. Wow! is the word commonly used to describe the experience. The sight and perfume alone are a joyful assault on the visitor's senses. Most visitors also go home with armfuls of new orchid additions they've selected from the hundreds of orchids and other plants that are on sale. Also available are many of the hard to get special orchid growing supplies all good growers need, and at great prices. Available to visitors are many experts only too willing to give their best advice on growing orchids. There are also potting demonstrations over the two days.

Lions Club of Cabarita Beach Pottsville Beach Pedal for Prostate

(April 26) PEDAL FOR PROSTATE is a fun cycle ride on the Northern Rivers Rail Trail. Sunday 26th April, from 7am to 4pm, Registration can be made via: events.humanitix.com/tweedcoastpedalforprostates
(online: Tweed Coast Pedal for Prostate and it will come up) or contact the Lions Club through their website. Stop along the way for brunch, coffee, lunch, artisan ice cream and mouth-watering cakes. Enjoy hand made cheeses and other local produce along with the views. The Prostate Cancer Foundation will be making short presentations about the disease, its detection, diagnosis and treatment between 11am and 3pm at the start/finish in Burringbar. Why not get family & friends together and register as a group, times are half hour departures. Donations are of course welcome

Harvesting Stories - Artefact Exploration Workshop

(May 17) Step into creativity and storytelling with artist and fifth generation farmer Kylie Harries as part of Redcliffe Museum’s Harvest exhibition.
In this hands-on workshop, Kylie invites visitors of all ages to explore the region’s agricultural history through slow looking, drawing and visual storytelling.
Participants will create artworks inspired by historical farming objects, capturing memories and observations along the way.
Whether you’re an artist, writer, or simply curious, this two-hour session offers a unique chance to connect, discover, and create.
Remembering the Titanic at Redcliffe Museum

(May 31) Film maker Robert Martin takes you back 115 years ago to 31 May 1911, when the RMS Titanic was launched from its shipyard in Belfast, Ireland.
Its collision with an iceberg the following year would make it one of the most famous maritime tragedies in history.
At this immersive lecture led by Titanic film maker Robert Martin:
Hear firsthand accounts gathered from Robert’s interviews with shipwreck survivors and their relatives, including Edith Haisman, who boarded Titanic at just 15 years old.
View artefacts displayed across three trestle tables, including items from the Titanic sister ship, the RMS Olympic.
Experience the film’s theme music performed live on a guitar crafted from timber belonging to RMS Olympic.
